The Industrial revolution brought with it an attitude of consumption. 60 years of this attitude is the single greatest contributor to global warming, and the breakdown of our society. Mainstreaming the sustainable industry will provide the solutions to these challenges but the only way sustainability can become mainstream is by changing this attitude. RJS Holdings, Incorporated is a clean tech firm, located in Milwaukie, Oregon USA. Our work is to bring to the market new clean energy technologies and teach utilities, municipalities, and industry professionals how to integrate them in a profitable manner. Our integrated focus is on six economical activities and three social activities engineered to assist Portland, Oregon in their ongoing efforts to be the worlds first fully sustainable city. This will serve as the catalyst to shifting our collective social consciousness toward an attitude of stewardship, resourcefulness, and production. In the principles and processes of nature exists the perfect model on which to build an industrial society. In order to stabilize our current economical climate, mitigate further harm to our natural climate, and restore the foundation to our social climate we must adopt the attitude of stewards and teach these habits to our children. |
